Samsung’s innovative display-less AI smart glasses are reportedly delayed and now expected to launch in 2026.
These glasses will skip built-in visual displays, relying instead on cameras, speakers, and microphones for hands-free interaction and AI assistance.
By foregoing complex display tech initially, Samsung aims to create a more mainstream, user-friendly device—likely to appeal to a broader audience.
The move comes as Samsung prepares to compete with Meta’s Ray-Ban AI Glasses and Apple’s rumored display-less smart glasses.
Despite the delay, Samsung leadership remains committed: “When it's ready, it will be launched,” confirming the project remains alive and on track.
Samsung is also working on more powerful AR-enabled devices—like its Project Moohan headset—while syncing smart glasses within its Galaxy AI ecosystem.
