iPhone 15 series launched in India. iPhone 15 Pro Max to cost a whopping Rs 2 lakh!

The day is finally here when Apple’s new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max have made an official entry into the market. And just like every year, Apple announced some major upgrades to its flagship lineup.

The phones will be available for pre-booking starting from September 15 and the sale will start from September 22.

What’s new with the iPhone 15

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are the younger children who only get hand-downs. Last year, the Pro models of iPhone 14 were launched with the Dynamic Island and the A16 Bionic chip. These two premium features are now part of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

The company has made major strides in the camera department by upgrading the main camera to a new 48MP lens.

There is also a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer across all the devices.

The iPhone 15 is priced at Rs 79,900 for the base 128GB model, while the iPhone 15 Plus starts at Rs 89,900 for the 128GB model.

Both phones are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants. The iPhone 15 256GB is priced at Rs 89,900, and the Plus model is Rs 99,900. The iPhone 15 512GB will cost you Rs 1,09,900 and the iPhone 15 Plus 512GB is priced at Rs 1,19,900.

The phone is available in 5 color options: Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black.

The showstopper iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

All the major upgrades have been bestowed upon the top two models of the iPhone 15. Starting from a smart titanium frame, which was the highlight of the show, the two phones boast a light structure that is also stronger than previous models.

Another major upgrade is the new A17 Pro chipset, making the Pro model the first in the industry to come with a 3-nanometre architecture. Apple has claimed that the A17 chipset dramatically enhances performance while giving a full day’s worth of battery life.

The cameras on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have been upgraded too with a 48MP primary lens. Rumors haven’t really hit the mark with the camera speculations, as Apple didn’t introduce any periscope lens in the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

However, it claims to have done something equally marvelous. The telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is capable of 5X optical zoom, compared to 3X on the iPhone 15 Pro and 2x on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

Buying any of these two phones is going to cost a bomb. While the iPhone 15 Pro starts at Rs 1,34,900 for the 128GB model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,59,900 for the 256 GB model.

The iPhone 15 Pro 256GB model will cost Rs 1,44,900, and the 512GB model is priced at Rs 1,64,900.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB is priced at Rs 1,79,900 and the 1TB model will cost Rs 1,99,900.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in four new finishes: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
