iQOO’s first smartwatch looks like a cheap alternative of Google Pixel Watch; offers 100 sports modes and e-SIM connectivity

iQOO has officially entered the wearable industry with the introduction of its first-ever smartwatch. The iQOO Watch, unveiled alongside the iQOO Neo 9 series of smartphones, resembles the premium Google Pixel Watch and aims to provide popular wearable features and technology at a more accessible price point.

A standout feature of the iQOO Watch is its e-SIM support, facilitating seamless calling functionality even when a connected smartphone is not present. The smartwatch has been released in three variants in the Chinese market and is slated for an imminent launch in India alongside the iQOO Neo 9 series handsets. Let’s get into the details of the iQOO’s first wearable.

The iQOO Watch exhibits a minimalistic design with a circular dial reminiscent of the premium Google Pixel Watch. It features gentle curves along the edges seamlessly blending with the metallic frame, accompanied by a crown button and a second physical button on the right side.
This smartwatch offers three style options—silicone, fabric, and leather straps—in two color variants: Haoyu Black and Star Track Black.

iQOO has offered a 1.43-inch 46.1 mm circular AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels resolution and always-on support. The display seems vibrant and should offer a smooth user experience.

The iQOO Watch runs on Vivo’s self-developed BlueOS operating system. We are eager to explore the new wearable software.
The smartwatch boasts an extensive array of health and fitness modes. It has over 100 sports modes encompassing running, walking, swimming, cycling, and skipping. The wearable can measure your heart rate, sleep patterns, daily steps, biking distance, and blood oxygen levels. For running enthusiasts, the iQOO Watch features an AI running coach.

Equipped with essential sensors like acceleration, gyroscope, air pressure altitude, geomagnetic, ambient light, and hall sensors, iQOO ensures comprehensive health tracking. The smartwatch seamlessly connects to both iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth 5.2.
Powered by a 505mAh battery, the iQOO Watch claims to deliver up to 3 days of runtime and 7 days of standby time in normal use on a single charge.
