Realme has launched the Realme C67, bringing 5G capabilities to its budget C series in India. Priced at Rs 13,999 and scheduled for availability on Flipkart from December 20, the Realme C67 stands out for its sleek design and a feature set that includes a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display, a punch hole with Mini Capsule 2.0 functionality, and a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, the Realme C67 offers configurations with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with additional support for Dynamic SCAM, oops- RAM. The budget 5G handset is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery featuring 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, delivering a 50% charge in approximately 29 minutes. Camera capabilities include a 50MP AI primary camera, a 2MP secondary shooter, and an 8MP selfie camera, offering a range of photography features.
In the landscape of affordable 5G smartphones, the Realme C67 naturally invites a comparison with the recently launched Redmi 13C, positioned at an attractive Rs 9,999 with card discounts. The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits peak brightness. Powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, the smartphone comes in three storage variants- 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.
Both smartphones share a 50MP primary camera but differ in secondary configurations, with the Realme C67 incorporating a 2MP shooter and an 8MP selfie camera. At the same time, the Redmi 13C opts for a depth sensor for the rear camera and features an 8MP selfie camera. You can expect similar camera performance from these budget 5G handsets.
Similarities continue with the battery capacity as both the handsets house a 5,000mAh battery cell that should deliver up to 2 days of battery life. As far as the charging speed is concerned, the Realme C67 5G takes the cake as it supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, while the Redmi 13C’s fast-charging speed maxes out at 18W.
Overall, Realme C67 5G seems to be a slightly better value-for-money deal in the budget 5G segment; however, a careful review of their performance can only offer the true picture.
